Photography has been a hobby since I was 17 years old (took my first picture with my dad's Rollei 35).

I shot a film SLR for some time, then let it sleep, as I did not like the images the early digital cameras produced, but couldn't get myself to go through the whole process of shooting film (spending a lot of money for developing photos that didn't turn out as intended ;-) ) anymore.

Recently, I rediscovered my hobby when I got the Panasonic LX2, and then the Nikon D90, which keeps amazing me with its image quality and possibilities.
