I received an invite to be a contact to Jeri's account and have enjoyed seeing her work since then. As another person wrote, it is an inspiration to see how she goes out into the world and actively pursues her craft. Her photostream appears below mine when I sign in so I can always see her latest works. She really has maximized not only the way she uses Flickr, but the way in which she reaches out to other people. It is a great gift to be so friendly and her approach makes the world seem a lot smaller!

I used to think that people who made 'friends' on the internet were a bit odd...... then I saw Jeri,s stream and dropped her an email about something...... she replied and that was the start of what is turning out to be a great friendship. Jeri is an inspiration, she's a hardworking mum and wife who still manages to find the time to take great photographs and help out and do great things for technophobes like me. ‘INSPIRATIONAL’ It's quite easy to use the word 'inspirational'; to bandy it around; to be blasé when using it as a descriptive comment about someone's work. However when that person's work truly inspires you; when it makes you look again and more deeply at the imagery, the techniques, the style; when it even wants to make you go out and try get that same shot, then ‘inspirational’ is a very apt description when it comes to the photography of Jeri Leandera. Each new set of photos brings forth comments such as: “Wow, look at that!” “How did she achieve that?” “Fancy being there, at that point in time, to be able to get that shot.” Yes, I have been inspired and so Jeri’s work is for me “INSPIRATIONAL”.
