It's always a dicey matter to think you know someone through their work, but sometimes the work is enough. I'm continually grateful that I stumbled across Leah's work by way of a mutual friend. Not only is her stream a survey course in the history of photographic technology, but I'm constantly impressed at the ease with which she moves from incredibly engaging portraits of people to equally engaging portraits of "nothing" (like her recent forest shots). "Inspiration" isn't really the right word to describe what I find in Leah's photos. It's more like "reassurance."
