John is a full time psychotherapist specializing in abuse and neglect. He is also a photographer, published in Western Pennsylvania History Magazine, Civil Engineering Magazine, Landscape Architecture Magazine, and is a credited photographer for the award-winning PBS documentary, Liquid Assets - The Story of Our Water Infrastructure. He has also been published in the New York Times online. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Nine Mile Run Watershed Association and donates many photographs for their use. A permanent display of his work appears at the Summerset on Frick Community Center, which was built upon a slag heap above the Nine Mile Run stream and wetland area of Frick Park. He has done freelance photography for landscape architects and published in textbooks teaching graduate-level work on sustainability and green infrastructure issues.

Ansel Adams (1902 - 1984) was heavily involved in the Sierra Club. He also served as a consultant for the Polaroid Corporation beginning in the late 1940's. -- my man Mr. Adams!
