LEAF is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the protection and improvement of the urban forest. Since 1996, LEAF has helped citizens plant over 16,000 native trees and shrubs in their neighbourhoods.

We engage citizens in urban forest stewardship through planting (Subsidized Backyard Tree Planting Program and hands-on Stewardship Events), education (Guided Tree Tours, Presentations and Workshops), and training (Tree Tenders Volunteer Training Program).
