Hello ,

as you have probably noticed, my interests are mainly photography, art, eg painting and drawing. I dabble a tiny bit with graphic design. All of which, i am not very good at, but I am constantly striving for self improvement. i am still trying to find a style for myself.( seriously doubt it will ever happen but i am having fun on the way) i am leaning heavily towards mixed media, I love the collaging and stenciling techniques, for which i am developing a fascination . i love how it all starts off, looking absolutely unconnected, and then it all comes together at the end, into a beautiful art piece. I adore the layering and how it develops depth as it is worked up into a finished piece, how materials just on hand are used rather than running out and purchasing all the prettiest "latest and greatest" from the scrap booking shop .i paint, draw and generally mess around; playing with journalling. I spend a lot of time painting, drawing and experimenting in my journal. nothing very exciting yet, but i hope it will be one day.. this year ,I have taken all the best out of the visual diaries i have kept, and placed it all in the most recent journal i am using. a reference book of sorts, of all the stuff i have created, a futile attempt to keep it all in one spot and not to have boxes and boxes full of old visual diaries.somewhere to go and quickly look for inspiration or work further on an old idea.i like photography, would love a better camera, but i will keep trying to improve myself, and develop the photographers eye..as if!!.

natalie uhing has been a great source of inspiration, she has taught me a lot about what it is to be an artist. about how to tap into the creative spirit that resides in all of us .i thank nat for her help, and her friendship and tutelage.

please take note: all of my photographs and images and drawings are either taken or created by me and are copyrighted to me as such.( unless stated otherwise) all of the rights of these images , drawings, and art are reserved. they should not be used by a third party without my permission. if you would like to use any of these images, drawings, or art please contact me via flickr for my permission.

cheers
