I'm a retired librarian, living in California. I get to live in and explore a remarkable setting. Aside from the occasional vacation photo or shots I took for my job, most of my pictures are taken walking in my neighborhood, a mile or so from my front door, in the nearby arboretum and farm, and in some of the regional parks and natural settings. Yep, those eagles, owls, hawks, snakes, coyotes, bobcats, and plants are neighbors I get to see during my treks on foot. It don't get much better than that.
