Luís has proved to be an excellent beholder and recorder of avian wildlife, as this set of photos proves. If I were to truly comment on every photo of his that captures my attention, I would become fastidiously repetitive, because they are all or nearly all deserving of the highest praise, as can be seen. Besides his talented view for bird photography, he proved to be a most kind host (alongside with his wife) when he once invited me, and also a very interesting person, never wasting words in futile chattering, but making every conversation rather interesting and on a natural fluidity of important subjects, and yet light and cheerful enough. For all that I am most grateful to him (to them, actually) and I feel honoured to have met a very worthy person and a great perfectionist at what he loves to do.
