I was born and brought up in the South Indian city of Hyderabad, continue to live here and have no plans to leave the city and its cullinary delicacies including, but not limited to, the Biryani and the Haleem.

I took up photography about two years ago and, thanks mostly to flickr, have developed my abilities while having a lot of fun doing so.

I used a Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ1 Point & Shoot till not so long back (an excellent camera) and recently upgraded to the Panasonic Lumix G1 with 14-45mm and 45-200mm lenses.

I discovered my dad's Zeiss Ikonta Anastigmat that was lying around for close to 25 years. Haven't clicked anything with it yet. Too scared.
