layne robertson is one of the few "still life" photographers that i can easily enjoy. he is very passionate about his pictures, but more importantly, his time, effort, and passion radiates from his products. you know when you want to take a picture of something remarkable in person, but the photo just doesn't suffice? layne has the talent to capture the photo with all of the importance and emotion, as if you were experiencing it in real life, due to the detail and precision being so crisp in his pictures. even more important, he is able to take the most visually unappealing thing, and turn it into a beautiful work of art. he is able to wade his way through the crowd of artificial photographers, and come out with pictures of inanimate things, of which none of would've looked at twice, with such vibrance and quality, no matter the location. showing that he is persistent, and set on finding beauty in the world around him. pristine, emotional, story telling, and passionate. you've got a definite successful photographer in the making.
