Primarily self taught, I have been painting on and off for about 20 years, working at it more intensely for the past two years. Drawing and painting in graphite, charcoal, soft pastles and watercolor.

The work focuses on light and shadow, the illusion of three dimensionality as well as on the beauty of the female form. The figures and portraits are drawn in a serious, natural and realistic fashion.
