I am an advocate and defender of human rights for all people, everywhere. I believe that education is the key to solving most of the world's problems and I volunteer with groups that are making a difference, a real difference to bring about positive change.

I am a student at Mount Royal University, International Community Development and I plan to continue and work in this field. I am learning Dari, Farsi, Pashto languages, keeping informed and educated in all aspects of Afghanistan and I am a supporter of women and child rights in Afghanistan. I will not stop! I will not quit! That is the way I am made! I believe it is going to take each and every one of us on this earth to change this world for the better and that it starts with me, and it starts with you. Are you in?

My sweetheart Cecil and I have been together 15 years, he was diagnosed terminally ill with two years to live on Valentines Day, Feb, 2001. Almost 9 years later, he is still here and we are still sweethearts. He is a generous man, a giving man and he is the love of my life, my soul mate, my better half.
