Je ne suis de loin pas un photographe professionnel, en fait je suis biochimiste. J'ai vraiment commencé à prendre des clichés pendant ma thèse à Genève. Pendant toutes ces randonnées dans les Alpes je trimbalais mon EOS 500 avec 4-5 rouleaux de pellicules. C'est en arrivant à Montréal pour mon postdoc et suite à l'acquisition du rebel digital de Canon que je m'y suis mis plus sérieusement.

J'aime la liberté que procure le numérique, outre le fait de pouvoir constater le résultat directement, on peut jouer sur les réglages et prendre un prise de vue en 100ISO et tout de suite après une autre de1500ISO sans avoir besoin de changer de pellicule.

I'm by far not a pro photographer, I got into shooting pictures during my PhD in Geneva. All these hikes in the Alps I carried my Canon EOS 500 and I must have used miles of films at that time.

When I arrived in Montreal, I bought a digital Canon Rebel and that's when I really started shooting, I love the liberty that the digital gives you. You can check the pictures directly, play around with settings and see the results right away, and you can switch the sensitivity from 100 ISO to 1500 ISO for the next picture.
