I am...

a Canadian who moved halfway around the world. I've been in England for a few years now and as much as I miss Toronto, I really do love living in London.

I enjoy...

baking cupcakes from scratch, attempting the Observer's cryptic crossword on a lazy Sunday afternoon, listening to BBC Radio 4, fawning over my aging yet beloved Mac laptop and generally maintaining interests that reveal me to be an old lady at heart despite the fact that I'm actually a girl in her 20's.

I spend my days...

programming music events for the largest multi-disciplinary arts centre in Europe. It is challenging, but brilliant.

I own quite a few...

cameras - primarily vintage ones. My collection includes a 1953 Six-20 Brownie Model C , a 1957 Brownie 127, a 1958 Brownie Model 1, a 1963 Kodak Instamatic 100, a 1977 Polaroid 1000 SX-70, and most recently, a not so vintage year 2000 Polaroid Spectra 1200i . On a day to day basis I mainly use my Exilim, which I bought on an ill-advised whim and find really disappointing. What I really want is a Nikon D70S but I can't quite justify splashing out on one (see below).

I am admittedly...

fairly inept when it comes to taking photographs, but use Flickr as a means to appreciate the amazing photos taken by those who (unlike me) actually know what they're doing with a camera.
