Laura has an uncanny knack for being able to see beauty in objects the rest of us would see as mudane - she then has then talent and ability to capture that beauty for the rest of us to see. Her self-portraits are another story all together, because clearly we all can see the beauty that is there. Her knack on her self-portraits is being able to capture for those of us who don't know her that gleam in her eye and slight curled up grin that gives us just a *hint* of the warmth and fun and joy she must be to those lucky enough to know her.
