Me... Me... Me... It is so hard to write something about yourself. I love love. I love art. I love beauty and grace. I love... My God. My family. My friends. My life. My dog. I try to keep it simple. I love to laugh and to hear laughter. My daughter is the center of my universe. My mom is my hero. I like learning new things. I have been in school since the beginning of time. I like being around curious people. I like to ask questions. I like people who ask questions. I like people who answer questions. I like silence. I like like music. I am fascinated with carnival side shows. I like the way water moves. I like to watch people. I love people. People scare me. I am a human contradiction. I am different everyday.
What is your purpose? (25 words or less.) If you had to describe your calling in life, what would you say? What are you here to do? What gift is yours to give to the world?
Whether it is in my work or my personal relationships, my purpose is to try to make the world a happier and more beautiful place.
2. What do you love, and how do (or will) your actions demonstrate this? (250 words or less.) What do you care
about, and what do you most enjoy doing?
I love creating, dreaming and doing, as well as helping other people bring their hopes and dreams to life. Whether it is painting, drawing, photography, design, or coming up with new products or services, I love the thrill of dreaming up and finding ways to create new things. To me, life and work are about exploring life and the world, about having new adventures and experiences and helping others do the same. I want to experience everything this life and this world have to offer and whether it is as a person, a mother, a wife, a friend, or a teacher, I want to help others find ways to live out and experience their dreams as well. I believe we are all here to help one another, to make one another’s lives
more comfortable, more satisfying, more beautiful and more exciting. While money gives you the freedom to do what you want in life, I am not interested in money simply for the sake of having it. I am driven and fulfilled by ideas, by people, by experiences. To me what you get out of this life is far more important than what you have in your home, your bank account, or on your award shelf and I want my work, my life and the world around me to reflect that.
3. Write your ideal job description. (250 words or less.) Forget about job titles like 'doctor' or 'artist' or 'lawyer.' If you could get paid just devote your life to? What would your days be like?
My ideal job description would be to never have a job description. My ideal job would be a combination of art, photography, design, learning, teaching and living, where I could follow my creative impulses and help others follow theirs as well. No day would ever be the same and I would
never want to do anything the same way twice. I would explore the world, drawing inspiration from the places, people and experiences I would encounter in my travels, then bring those sights, ideas and experiences home to share with others through my art and through my teaching. I would be an artist, a student, a teacher, an explorer, a mentor, and a life coach, weaving together all those disciplines, experiences. lessons and perspectives to achieve a deeper understanding of the world in which we
live, the people around me and myself. My job would be a never-ending quest to master new skills, to understand new ways of thinking and to experience life surrounded by people from all walks of life all throughout the world. As clichéd as it sounds, I would want to be a student of life, for life.
