I haven't been able to put the camera down since picking up my first point-and-shoot in 1999 for a trip across Europe. I've captured subjects throughout the United States and a great variety of locations abroad, including India, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Jamaica, England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Russia, Mexico and Canada. I'm originally from Seattle, WA and recently moved back with my writer-producer husband.

When taking my candid portraits, I search for a certain quality in a human face - a look of resilience, gratification, and resignation that is both contradictory and complete. It is the look of a person who has been caught in the moment, unposed and unreadied.

I also photograph weddings & parties, children, nature, the city & the country, and faraway places.
