I am a professional photographer based in Houston Texas. I do weddings, portraits and fine art photography. I do not do windows but I do cook. I like to draw (sometimes) I am not much of a writer as I can never think of my to say with my mouth that seems fit to write down. I have two of the most lovely daughters you will ever see (and see them often you will here) I love take photographs of my friends, especially if they will play dress up. I love to take photos of interesting people. In case you wanted to know, I use all sorts of cameras, film, digital, toy, plastic, pinhole, whatever I can get mine hands on. To me it is all about the finished image, not as much about what I used to get there. I think an image should stand alone as well as tell a story.

I am available for portraiture, weddings and special projects. Flickr or email me if you have a need you think I can fill ;)

whoever wants to know something about me – as an artist which alone is significant – they should look attentively at my pictures and there seek to recognize what I am and what I want. (Gustav Klimt)

If you are interested in owning one of my prints or using it for publication, web or otherwise, feel free to contact me. We can talk :)

Thanks!

She actually made me rethink the whole concept of photography and what's good and what is not. Laura Burlton is a great artist. Definitely one of my favorites o… Read more

Visiting Laura's stream is like entering the most fantastically illustrated book i've ever read, and one that I don't ever want to see end.

The first time I heard about Laura Burlton, was when I read a danish photo magazine, with an article about holga/toy photography. the article was a collection of interviews with 5 or 6 people, and one of them was Laura Burlton. At the bottom of her interview there was a link to her flickr profile, so off I went to see what kind of photos you could make with a plastic camera. And I must say I landed at the best.... Keep up the good work.....which I´m sure you will :o)
