Ladies, gentlemen, artists, and photographers behold Laura M.C.. In modest terms, Laura is not a household name. She has no biographical book…No record label…No Nobel Peace Prize. However, in spite of the absence of world fame, Laura M.C. has something that is the envy of photographers around the world. She has the ability to see. Laura M.C. is Italia’s quiet sensation who out of nowhere walked into my life with a fresh approach to photography. She does have a few advantages. Rather than enumerate a list, there is Italy’s vast venue of canals, mountains, churches, festivals, Roman history, and thousand other things. Laura does take advantage of Italia’s beauty. Perhaps you haven’t noticed Laura’s preoccupation with window treatments. I have never seen so many photos devoted to balconies, windows, and the things that can set outside of windows. Laura brings them to you like UPS or FedEx brings next day packaging. If you got a minute check out her set called porte, finestre e balconi. You will see some amazing things. I mean amazing. Laura emphasizes one element of design after another. Within this set are displays of value, color, space, and texture. Even if the pictures are nonhuman, you see the human factor in each of them. If I ever get to travel to Italia, I am going to look around and see all the touristy things. Well, why not. I am going to walk into a café and inquire about a local photographer.
