Native Texan. Life-long outdoors enthusiast. I enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, canoeing, biking, travel, etc... These outdoor activities seem to put me in beautiful natural settings where the photo opportunities are abundant. I have also recently moved from Dallas to a small East Texas town where the outdoor activities I enjoy are more available.

I have always enjoyed photography and started out with an old Pentax SF1 film camera. The principles I learned on it have really helped me with my transition to a digital SLR.

I have seen so many amazing photos since joining Flickr. There is so much to learn and so many creative photographers to be inspired by.
