I live in Nuneaton, a town of about 73,000 inhabitants situated in the County of Warwickshire, right in the middle of the U.K.

I presently use Canon EOS 1Dx and a 7D mark ii for most of my photography . The majority of my bird photo's up to 26 March 2012 were taken with a 300 f/4L IS lens, occasionally with a 1.4x converter. However a 500 F/4L IS Mark ii is now my main lens for wildlife subjects. I also have a 100 F/2.8L IS Macro and 70 -200 f2.8/L IS which are both great, really sharp lenses.

For aircraft photo's I mainly use the 100-400 and 70-200.

I use a Tamron SP 24-70 f/2.8 Di VC lens for most my other travel and landscape pictures.

I'm a keen amateur who merely takes pictures for my own pleasure, if someone else likes any of them, that's a great bonus!
