Photos of the moments that go unnoticed. Photos that capture action; perhaps the strain of an athlete, a dog with a desire, a caring family.

I'm 80, and I realize my days of hiking through the woods and mountains in pursuit of the perfect landscape photo, are gone. I’m much happier hanging around an event or a city street or a beach or my neighborhood, looking for the small photo opportunities that are part of everyday life.

I’m a retired forestry professor. Photography is a hobby, and I’m growing more interested and committed as I age. I shoot mostly with Nikon cameras, and more recently with an iPhone. I live in Athens, Georgia, US, and I still love to travel, especially by automobile around the U.S. and Canada.
