And it's delightfully unusual, if I may say so, to include in that work a rolling group of luscious nudes and semi-nudes (including self-portraits). They're tasteful, but nonetheless subtly erotic. It's been a joy to follow Melissa's work as we are both fans of pin-up and glam photography. What I apprciate the most is seeing the images of beauty as presented from the eye of the female photographer. When you can take a model and a piece of fabric or a simple prop as the starting point, the focus is clearly on complimenting your model. The end results are always shots to make the model proud, empowered, confident, playful and comfortable. These feelings pass through seamlessly to the viewer and I'm always waiting to see "what's next" from my friend in the Rockies! You're off to a great start and learning with each shoot.
