I am living in Halifax, NS, Canada - beautiful place on the east coast. One of our hobbies is gardening and we have many plants around the house, maybe around 400 different species (and growing) - giving daily opportunities to take a picture of a new flower or an insect...
The images you can see in my photostream are not overly cropped or manipulated. I am composing the images in camera as much as possible. I shoot RAW, so some colour and saturation is adjusted in PhotoShop.
After having a few film cameras in the past (Smena 8, Practika, Minolta XG-1, Nikon N70), and some digital cameras (Olympus C750-UZ, Olympus EVOLT E-500, I now shoot with Canon gear.
Please feel free to comment on my images. Flickr is a great tool to learn something every day. Viewing and analyzing your images, reading your comments on my shots helping me. So do not hold back your criticism - I'd like to learn from you.
