Just a rookie photog. My journey started May of 2010. I joined up to get tips and advice, and hopefully make a few friends along the way.

I have been trying to shoot a bit of everything, but seem to end up shooting birds alot. I never really had an interest in birds until I got my camera.

I really want to try my hand at street photography and add more portraits. I am typically not a people person, but i think that photography might help me to open up.

I used to be into everything artistic, and then life got in the way. I only experimented with photography for a little while in high school. I bought a Minolta Maxxum and used it for a summer. I used to paint alot and especially liked chalks and watercolor. I am slowly trying to rekindle the artist in me. I hope he is not dead, but most days I have to wonder.
