History Lesson about Wilkes-Barre Trophy, Inc.

 

Wilkes-Barre Trophy's involvement in the field of Recognition

began in 1978 when the original 3 owners, who were baseball mothers,

decided they could make their own trophies. Starting in a 1 room

building in the back of one of the owners houses they eventually

started creating trophies for other people.

 

In 1983 the company moved to North Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre

Pennsylvania to expand their shop and growing customer base.

 

The store was purchased by Joe and Ellie Schwab in 1994, with then partner,

Frank Magdalinski.

 

The store moved to its current location at 124 North River Street

in Plains, Pennsylvania in 1999.

 

The original operation has now grown and expanded into our new business

goal of taking the company into the future with new services and an

ever-expanding product line while keeping the original core business theme

of recognizing events, companies & organizations, services and people.

 

To make this change we needed to break away from our old image of just

designing awards and trophies. In 2006-2007 we changed the name of the business to

Lasting Impressions. We expanded the store with a new

custom designed showroom to better serve our clients and expand our services.
