I am a part-time photographer hobbyist, shooting primarily in my free time for the enjoyment achieved through the practice, and motivated by my strong interest possessed in the field. I am relatively new to the world of photography, having my interest in the subject peak in December of 2007, and finally obtaining my first DSLR in the midsts of March of 2008.

My current photography hardware consists of an entry-level Nikon DSLR to start, the D40, with a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens with UV and Polarizer filters. I use Apple's Aperture, Photoshop CS3 and Photomatix Pro as post processing tools on a Mac.
