I'm better at photography than I'll ever be at golf, but like golf, it's the occasional good shot that brings you back for more. Except that I'm so bad at golf, the whole operant conditioning thing doesn't work. Which leaves more time for photography. And motorcycling. And not getting struck by lightning while golfing.

I tend to avoid taking pictures with people in them, except for scale. Also, I usually don't post pictures of people I know unless I've gotten their permission. So my photo stream is mostly of buildings, landscapes, urban odds-and-ends and some older stuff just to keep the memories alive.

I can't believe I'm typing this, but, if you mark one of my pictures as a favorite and have no visible pictures on flickr and no meaningful information in your profile, I will block you.
