I got my first SLR about 12 months ago, and the shift from a compact camera was somewhat of a revelation for me... and Ive been madly taking photos and exploring locations around wellington since!

My current gear is a Canon 5d Mark II, the EF 17-40 f4 wide angle, the 50mm f1.4 which rocks my world, and the 70-200 F4L IS : )
