I am a former Delta flight attendant and for a few years prior to that, a police officer. (Not so different if you think about it. ) I took early retirement after 9-11 and now have all the time in the world to travel and take pictures.
I try to keep my number of contacts low because I really like to keep up with them. How do people keep up with 500 contacts anyway?
Since we travel so much, I use my Flickr site to show my friends and family "where in the world are the Mackos now?"
I love Flickr because I learn so much from the generous photograpers who post here. What I don't love about it is that it is so ADDICTIVE.
I presently shoot with the Canon R5 and R6;
I presently am doing a lot of work with double exposure and ICM.

When Lana came through the Pacific Northwest I was fortunate to be able to meet and shoot with her one morning in Oregon while I was passing through as well. I wish we had more time. Adorable and fun, and what an eye she has for photography. Her work is always interesting and she has a wide array of styles and she'll be the first to give everyone else props but she is an inspiration to many, myself included. Flickr continues to bring together folks from all over who share this love of photography and every once in awhile an especially valued friendship grows from that. She's one of mine!

I admire Lana for several reasons. I appreciate so much that she keeps her contact list small (and that I am honored to be on it) and by keeping it small she takes the time to look and comment constructively on the photo's she likes. I admire her photography so much! She puts thought behind her captures and takes into consideration the different textures, colors and finishes of her images. With her current position in life, she is able to journey into places many of us only dream about. With her photographic talents, she takes us to these places and we can live through her sight. Lana is helpful, funny and has a wonderful gift of capturing the beauty of life.
