Having come across Lani's photostream a few months ago, I count myself fortunate every time I see her daily uploads pop up. Lani is one of those rare gems that has a natural talent for spotting interesting things and turning her capture of them into works of art. With Lani you know her photos will offer a unique perspective and showcase an amazing talent to enhance the image in post processing. I always come away from Lani's stream wanting to do better in my own photographic work; and that is exactly what I am looking for from flickr. Pure inspiration.

lani, you have an uncanny ability to turn ordinary objects into art, by the way you capture them. you have inspired me, and probably scores of others, more than you will ever know. if anyone is interested in seeing what i mean, scroll lani's photo stream and check out...."fractured", "zoinggg", or "orange wilson",and you will see what i am talking about. ordinary things like a garden hose, a basketball, or a piece of splintered wood, take on a new life, a life of beautiful art, to be enjoyed over and over. whenever i sign on to flickr, i am always curious to see what you have been up to. it is always so much fun to trade comments with you... thank you for sharing all of your beautifully interesting work with the flickr community.................and most of all, thank you so much for helping to make me a better photographer joel
