Middlebury College has led the world in full-immersion language and cultural education since 1915, when it launched a summer program in German. In addition to its 10 summer Language Schools at sites in Vermont and California, Middlebury has established Schools Abroad at 34 sites around the world, seven of which are available for graduate study.
