OhSoPlush is a collection of plush dolls produced by Lanel. Each member of this mad cast of soft plush characters is painstakingly produced from various material, hand stitched & stuffed lovingly to create funny and endearing little personalities. Each character is a unique creation with it's own style, own personality and a "biography". The names are picked carefully and reveal something about the character. The works of sculpture, paintings and photographs of several artists, have become a source of inspiration.

I find the whole process of creating, selecting fabric, cutting, stitching, photographing and naming a character very exciting. I don't like to work on one project for too long so the whole process happens in a day or two. Sometimes the colour of the fabric might inspire the character, sometimes a mood and sometimes someone I know. Other than that it is all about having fun and keeping myself busy.
