Laura likes to incorporate wire wrap and wire sculpture into her jewelry and home fashion designs. Her work quite often has an organic feel. The Precious Metal Clay she uses in many pieces gives her the ability to create designs that are entirely her own.

She generates her ideas by finding focal objects including fused glass and by following her feeling of what is needed to complete the design concept. The special patinas and finishes that she uses give her her jewelry the look of classic antiquities combined with modern approaches and materials.

Laura is certified at Level 1 in Precious Metal Clay, and further developing her already considerable skills as a silversmith and glass lamp-worker.
