Hello. I'm a landscape photographer based in Appleby-in-Westmorland. I use a medium-format Hasselblad 501C/M film camera with a single, 80mm (standard) lens and I have a particular interest in black and white photography. I hand process my film (using a tanning and staining developer) and print digitally, which I outsource.

My photographic intentions are fairly straight-forward - namely, to capture something of the unique history of our rural landscapes. I put this interest down to a childhood spent roaming fields and downs, exploring forgotten bye-ways and generally immersed in the working countryside.
