I am neither a Smith nor a Rickard. Those are the names of the Oregon pioneer families after whom our 1890 farmhouse is named. But I've spent so much time researching them that I feel like part of the families.

I started out with Flickr as a visual blog for the house renovation. I now have farmers' market photos there as well.
