I've been interested in photography for as long as I can remember, and it was over 30 years ago that I got my first good camera: a Canon FTb SLR, all manual and all sweet, with the optional all-black body and an awesome 1.4 normal lens.

That camera took a lot of great photos, but I found myself using inferior digital point-and-shoots because of the convenience and instant gratification. Just as my vinyl records turned to CDs, my photography morphed to digital.

After years of drooling over digital SLR ads, I've finally made the plunge, revitalizing my interest in photography.
