William Spinrad Jr.
Drag to set position!
I worked for the National Park Service (now retired after 35 years of service) as a U.S. Park Ranger and I served as a Land Resources Officer performing a variety of land management matters including cartography, land planning, acquisition, rights-of-way, easements, boundary surveys, historic document and deed research, and solving complex land-related issues. I hold a degree in Geology and have been working towards a Masters in Recreation Resources Management.
In my retirement, I am working part time as a Visitor Assistant at the Virginia State Arboretum/Blandy Experimental Farm in Boyce, Virginia.
In my spare time I pursue photography as a hobby; hopefully soon in a more professional role. I have taken courses in fine arts including photography and continue to explore all things photographic including composition, landscape, and macro photography. I continue to take and audit photography and environmental classes at a local community college.
Land really does matter! I believe in the conservation of land, landscape values, and natural and cultural resources.
I encourage you to visit my work and comment openly as constructive comments help me become a better photographer!
Sincerely,
Bill
