I'm a photographer in Oak Ridge, TN, and a native of New Hampshire. I enjoy photographing a wide variety of subjects, especially portraits, landscapes and macro photography. I do occasional shoots with local models, and enjoy collaborating on creative projects with fun people. I tend to photograph a lot of mundane things because life is full of ordinary beauty.

After going overboard buying old film cameras during the 2010s, I've been consciously scaling back my gear. It's the limitations that really spark my creativity. Owning or carrying too much stuff puts a damper on my vision, and I often carry a single camera and lens when I don't have a need to take more on the trip. As Orson Welles is reported to have said: “The enemy of art is the absence of limitations.”
