The site’s artist interviews are not reserved for mainstream acts making the press rounds. While some of the musicians we talk to may already have a place in your iPod, others are up-and-coming players in the industry, artists who are making waves but not yet playing on the airwaves. We also talk to music industry professionals, those behind-the-scenes people who help musicians make the leap from obscurity to superstardom. They might not get asked to sign autographs, but their hard work is extremely valuable in helping an artist make their passion their day job. It’s about time you knew who they were.

L.A. Music Blog’s constantly updated calendar features music events throughout L.A. for those living in the area and looking for a great live experience. We’ll let you know which venues have the best atmosphere and sound systems (not to mention food and drinks…bloggers have to eat too!).
