Sandra was my very first Flickr friend and the first to comment on my work and encourage me in my newfound love of photography. Since then, she has become one of my favourite people on-line and off. I always look forward to seeing her latest posts and her comments are insightful, supportive and sometimes wickedly funny! She sees beauty all around her and captures that beauty - not just through her camera, but with her insightful and witty prose. At times reflective, at other times hilariously funny. Always refreshing. Life just looks better through Sandra's lens. Oh, and she also happens to have impeccable taste in shoes and handbags. We really need to live closer to each other so we can share closets! ;)

As I sit and think of my dear friend , Sandra, so much comes to my mind. I fell in love with her photography first as I passed it by.. It is superb in the sense that every emotion is captivated within the eyes of this artistic woman. But what stopped me in my tracks is the fact that this woman has the "moxy" of a strong, yet vulnerable woman. she is beautiful within and without.. she knocks your feet off with how she "sees life'. She is full of energy , love and deep , beautiful thoughts. She has the talent to be in the best galleries. This is no exaggeration. But she has the humbleness to do it all with flavor, energy, and honesty. . a truly gifted person" who seems to have the best of all great qualities. And on top of this all. She is a friend !..
