I am a seasoned scrapbooker, but reaching out into other types of craftiness to keep it exciting...have been sewing for years, but am a new-ish quilter. I love textiles and spend more time designing, planning, and collecting fabrics than anything else!

I absolutely LOVE Heather Ross...but mostly work with less whimsical designs because we have a very traditional-style home full of rich colors and dark wood. My craft room is brighter, with neutral khaki colored walls, white trim, and accents of green, orange, and some turquoise. Whimsical is certainly allowed in there, lol.

I am scrapbooker, a quilter, a wife of 16 years, a mom to two boys (15 and 11), a friend to two dogs, two cats, and a tortoise, a "grandma" to a hamster and a rat, a high school science teacher by day, an aspiring gardener and runner, and generally exhausted most of the time. ;)
