I have been interested in photography since the early 70s. My first real camera was a Minolta HiMatic 7s Rangefinder. I no longer have that particular camera but I do have one just like it for posterity. I then moved on to Minolta SLR's of which I still have a couple including an SRT202, but have not used in many years. I still enjoy shooting film however, especially color slide film or B&W print film. For these I use either my 1970 Nikon F or my 1950 Leica IIIc Rangefinder. I love the mechanical nature and feel of both those cameras (although the Nikon is a bit on the heavy side), plus they are great conversation pieces. You really have to know what you are doing to use them properly. Mostly nowadays, I use either my Nikon D300 or Leica D-Lux-4 point-and-shoot, and enjoy all types of outdoor photography, especially scenics and old churches. I recently acquired a Mamiya 645AFD Medium Format camera and have both film and digital interchangeable backs. I also have a Leica M6, one of the last of the classic all-mechanical rangefinder film cameras. It is a beauty to behold and to use. More recently, I also acquired a Leica M8, a digital rangefinder and a classic Leica M3.
Aside from photography, my other interests and activities include bicycling, running, motorcycling, and tinkering with my 1970 Porsche 911T, pretty much in that order.
