Kelly pretty much rocks the socks off the world. She's one of the greatest portrait photographers I've known, and to be quite honest, has one of the only photostreams I can look at and actually feel inspired to be creative. As if that weren't enough, she's also one of those rare people you find that you can talk to wit… Read more

Wow! Kelly's pictures are really impressive, and she's one hott Flickrite to boot. I know because she even manages to make flamboyantly gay pajamas look sexy (don't ask me how I know). :-) She is obviously well travelled as evidenced by her excellent pictures of France on her website, or else she just found some re… Read more

I know because she even manages to make flamboyantly gay pajamas look sexy (don't ask me how I know). :-) She is obviously well travelled as evidenced by her excellent pictures of France on her website, or else she just found some really good ones on the internet. She is super cool, although she has this odd habit of saying "Call me Ishmael." every time she takes a picture. It's weird.

I haven't seen anyone capture spirit like Kelly does. You can see it in the eyes of everyone she photographs. She is a photographer that you will find yourself coming back to time and time again ... That being said, she is mean.

Kelly's rise to Flickr goddess did not happen overnight. No, it is the long, fraught journey of a legend. She began her photo musings at an early age, picking up her father's old camera. This sparked enough interest in her that she disguised herself as a boy and, at great peril to her person, embarked upon her studies at a secret ninja monastery in the icy climes of Western China. There she learned both the practice of Zazen and how to white balance her Nikon using only her thumb. Unfortunately her disguise was discovered before she completed her studies and she was forced to flee to the West. Here she remains, working on her skills and amazing friends and passers by alike. Hers is a most strong and welcome presence in the Flickr-verse.

Kelly's portfolio truly demonstrates her dedication to photography as art and life. She flew with the cicadas, swam with the dolphins, and buried her feet in the ground with the roots of an old-growth forest, all to use her amazing talents to capture these beings in a new light. Kelly's portfolio truly demonstrates her dedication to photography as art and life. She flew with the cicadas, swam with the dolphins, and buried her feet in the ground with the roots of an old-growth forest, all to use her amazing talents to capture these beings in a new light. Some people may call her crazy, but after meeting her during her "flying squirrel" years of running up trees and leaping from branch to branch, I have developed an incredible amount of respect for her "walk a mile in another man's shoes - or rather, creature's paws" perspective, and I merely call her eccentric.
