I am a wife and mother of two grown daughters. A nurse by profession, and my loves include my family, friends, knitting, crocheting, quilting, embroidery, cooking, reading and gardening. My mother, who is German, taught me to knit and crochet when I was about 12 years old. My mother-in-law, who is from the hills of Kentucky taught me to quilt and how to can and freeze the fruits & veggies from our garden. To these two women I am eternally grateful. I am a creative woman because of them. I can't imagine life without a ball of yarn or a stash of fabric. Life is good!
