I've been taking photographs regularly since July 2008 when the arrival of the Superlambananas in Liverpool coincided with a marked improvement in my mobility.

I am under strict instructions from my osteopath, my acupuncturist and my reflexologist to keep walking, and photography gives me a reason to do that.

I can't bend or kneel, though, which is why you won't see any photographs in my Flickr stream which have been taken from low down.

If it's dark, or the weather is bad, I sometimes get my lightbox out and have a play with it.
