I mainly take pictures of flowers and scenery as a record of my gardening successes or failures. I like to browse the Internet to find good photos of the plants I can't grow.

I like to make major editing and effect changes to my photos using GIMP and PhotoFiltre.

I am self-taught when it comes to learning to use the features of the free photo editing software. Viewing the works and designs of other Flickr members is educational and inspiring. I especially like when background information about photos is shared and when comments are informative.
