Verena Kyratzes is a writer, artist, actress, director, cook, painter, singer and cat owner (servant). She co-wrote and co-directed two plays, directed a few more musicals, and acted in a whole bunch of stuff. She also built sets, made costumes, constructed props, and was generally helpful behind the stage. Fans of Bob the Spider will know that she created the acclaimed and occasionally controversial graphics for the independent adventure game The Strange and Somewhat Sinister Tale of the House at Desert Bridge.

She is married to Jonas Kyratzes, who happens to be the creator of the aforementioned game. She has a cat that bears the stunningly creative name Cat and is currently trying to get her first novel sold (hers, not the cat’s).
