I've been a working photojournalist for the past 7 years. I worked for the Alliance Review in Alliance, OH, for 6 years and now I'm at the Sun Newspapers in Cleveland, OH. I was awarded the 2001 ONPA Clip Photographer of the Year and have won several Ohio Associated Press awards over the past 7 years, including 1st place for my photo essay called Faces of Poverty, in which I wrote the stories as well. Though the recognition is nice, it's not about achieving awards...I simply love to photograph. I love facing the community and being a part of their lives for a moment, and attempting to capture the essence in which they live.

Recently I've taken a step into wedding photography, giving it my own photojournalistic style. I'm also working with musicians for CD cover shots and promotional photography.
