I made my first DSLR experience with a borrowed D70 camera in spring 2006. I almost shoot the photos in Automatic mode at that time.

 

Finally, a couple of days before we left for our trip to Athens in summer 2006 I bought my own D70s. Reading the manual and some books in the airplane and in the hotel made it possible to make some acceptable photos. At last the photos were better than compact camera photos.

After this experience I'm "infected" by the "photo virus".

 

Spending a lot of my spare time with the family limits my photographic ambitions - in terms of time and also funds for new lenses. Nevertheless I try to keep on developing my photographic skills. As a compromise of family life and my new hobby I found the solution that my daugther became my main "victim" for my photographic activities.
